Fueled by bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath, in the late sixties a new kind of rock burst onto the scene. With powerful, ear-splitting sounds, often with drums as the main force at the start of the mix, the classic artists of the era not only struck a chord that resonates to this day – they shook the earth and caused a landslide of heavy music.

It is from this heritage that Big Rock Drums EZX originates. Led by Rival Sons drummer Michael Miley and Grammy Award-winning engineer Dave Cobb (Rival Sons, Europe, Zac Brown Band), it aims to capture the essence of classic rock drumming as we know it.

Recorded at Cobb’s own Low Country Sound studio in Nashville, it features five significantly different sets that still have one common denominator – they’re massive, reverberant, and roaring, tailor-made for big rock songs.
